The best set yet from the mysterious Man Man. The band gave a tight, ferocious performance for the packed Delancey crowd. The sound seems to be shifting slightly from the Mothers of Invention vibe of the first album to a more cabaret jazz / soulful direction. Either way, Man Man is the most unique and creative band to emerge from Philly since the Roots. Seems like it’s only a matter of time before they blow up (or blow something up).

The Infadels headlined another killer party thrown by the Soulpusher squad. They killed the LES hipster crowd with catchy tunes and a tight performance.

It blows my mind when I go to see American Minor and the room isn't full. They're easily one of the best up & coming bands in the country. The guitars were especially blistering tonight as they killed the crowd tearing though all their best southern & hard rock flavored tunes and ended with a mind-blowing Allman Brothers cover.

One of the best performances I've seen this year, Awesome.

I hadn't heard of this band before but I enjoyed their set alot. Great songs and lots of energy.

I first caught Metric for the first time a while back at Hiro Ballroom. They're one of those bands that sound great on CD but you can't get the full picture until you see them live. The packed Southpaw crowd screamed along as Metric blew the roof off with their amazing energy and killer songs.
