Unfortunatley due to tech difficulty I couldn't really capture it (my camera was stolen the night before so I had to shoot with my crappy backup camera), but Silversun Pickups were by far one of the best bands I saw during SXSW. The music was simply great - it had sort of a grungy, almost surfy feel with catchy vocals and they seemed to be in good spirits laughing and joking with the morning crowd. Other bands had more hype going into this party but everyone was talking about Silversun after.
