The Onion Society For The Preservation Of Alcohol Meeting #13
This just came in...
-------------
Wednesday, September 6, 7-9 p.m.
The Onion Society For The Preservation Of Alcohol will continue its triumphant run in Brooklyn when, on Wednesday, September 6, the Society meets at The Brazen Head in Boerum Hill. The libation of honor will be Beefeater gin. Did you know Beefeater was created by John Burrough in 1820, himself a second-generation Society member? Don't try to look it up. You won't find it anywhere. The Society has never been capable of keeping accurate membership records what with all the secrecy and poor candlelight in the early days.
The Society will buy your Beefeater gin drinks from 7-9 p.m. (while supply lasts).
Must be 21+.
If you plan to attend the Society meeting, please RSVP to nypromo@theonion.com with "Society" in the subject. Your friends are invited, too.
