After taking a couple of weeks off for a much needed hiatus, I rolled into the grimy basement of LES hipster palace Lit to check out Brooklyn's Bottle up & Go. These guys were very impressive - if you can imagine a sound somewhere between the Black Keys and Wolfmother with some jazzy horn solos mixed in you'd be pretty close to the band’s sound. The guys even added in a Leadbelly & a Nick Cave cover into the mix.
An up and coming band with a ton of potential, Bottle Up & Go has gigs coming up all over the city and are highly recommended for friends of no bullshit, bluesy rock.
