Post a Comment As some of you may have noticed - I've been on a mini hiatus for the past couple of weeks but I'm back in action so expect lots of new pics and the usual music & party info coming soon.
I'm dedicating this month's "What's Good" to those of you who emailed me about last month's list (I thought it was actually pretty good but apparently not everyone agreed) but I got a lot of quality CDs in the mail this month hopefully you guys'll like these picks better.

Next up for me is South by Southwest (more on that this weekend). If anyone needs a photographer or has any ideas for collaboration I'm always looking for work so shoot me an email.

Thanks Nick. The list comes from a combination of word of mouth recommendations, promos, compilations, zines, blogs, myspace invites, etc. I try to listen to everything that comes my way, do some research and filter what I find. I'll work on the streaming for next month, that's a good idea.

A bunch of emails came in this weekend for CMJ recommendations, postings, schedules, etc. Well, there's tons of parties going on. My final schedule isn't set but all I can say is don't be afraid to wander around & explore. Also, here's twenty bands that are playing this week in NYC that we haven't featured yet on the site that are worth checking out (of course the bands we've already posted on FWYB are our favorites & not to be missed!!). I appreciate what you're doing, but it would be nice to include a link to the source where you got the file. Leeching is kind of rude.
