11-30 the Draft @ the Knitting Factory

This turned out to be an unusually fun show. The crowd was ready for action and the Draft were up to the challenge playing an intense set of gritty, no bullshit rock. The Gainesville, Florida band focused mostly on material from their outstanding debut In a Million Pieces but mixed in some older material as well. At the end the room started to look like a hardcore show with the entire front of the crowd climbing over each other trying to get to the microphone to sing along with their favorite songs. The Draft are definitely a band to look out for when they come your way for any fans of Hot Water Music (members of the Draft’s former band) or fiery, hardcore influenced rock in general.
