Constant touring in Europe has really paid off for the Heroes (according to the bands website they did 42 gigs in 46 days - good Lord!) - the NYC rockers sounded as tight as ever as they delivered catchy set of tunes off their debut LP "Bend to the Breaks". The Five O'clock Heroes invigorating punk-pop style brings to mind other heroes like the Jam or Elvis Costello and it's easy to imagine these guys rippin' it up at a party in 1979 but they add enough of their own flavor to the mix to keep things modern & interesting.
