Seems like momentum is building up for NYC block rockers Foreign Islands. This was the second night of a Manhattan to Brooklyn homestand and the guys looked confident & energized by the positive response from the hometown crowds. Original co-headliners the Young Knives backed out of both shows at the last minute due to some Visa unpleasantness, but Foreign Islands was up to the challenge playing an excellent set of genre mashing, jerky dance-punk that got the crowd at Luna Lounge movin'. Next up Foreign Islands are headed west promoting their upcoming new release Restart Now! so check 'em out when the head your way.

FOREIGN ISLANDS are playing on April 9th at the Gramercy Theatre in NYC with the TEddybears. Due to a dead-van, they had to scratch the rest of their tour, but this April date still remains and it should be an ASSKICKIN show
