I'd been hearing positive buzz around the city about Jonny Lives! for a while now so I was curious to check out their free showcase in the basement of packed basement of LES hipster hangout the Delancey. Overall, I was pretty impressed with the band's hard-rocking, garage-pop performance. They're entertaining performers not afraid to engage the crowd and they've some catchy songs ("Outside", "Love Conspiracy") that could catch on if they get some airplay.

Jonny Lives! are touring all over right now and are definitely a good time worth checking for lovers of more poppy garage like Jet or the Redwalls.
