From the Archives: Chicago: 05-28-06 The Redwalls @ the Metro
****
We showed up at the Metro in Wrigleyville just in time to catch one of Chicago’s best rock n’ roll bands the Redwalls take the stage sending the females in the all-ages crowd into full swoon mode. There wasn’t one dud song in the bunch as the band worked it's way through one catchy, harmony filled number after another. Clearly years of gigging has shaped the Redwalls into a polished and professional group. When you watching them I got the feeling that if a pack of wild dogs ran out onto the stage they would just keep smiling and singing barely missing a beat. For the grand finale the band bought out the drum section of a marching band to accompany them for a booming finale to a fun show.
I know everybody’s got a favorite song but no “Thank You”? Come on guys, that songs a gem.
