w/ 11:30 the Giraffes, 10:30 Goes Cube, 9:30 Arbouretum, 8:30 Endless Boogie

I'm unfamiliar with the two openers but Goes Cube & the Giraffes are definitely gonna rattle the walls once they hit the stage at the Mercury Lounge this weekend. Where Goes Cube punches so hard they might knock out your fillings (some of the tunes remind me of "In Utero" era Nirvana - when they were really lettin' it rip), the Giraffes fill their booze soaked metal tunes with some of the best face-melting lead guitar shredding in the five boroughs. Both demand crowd participation so this show is definitely required attendance for any lovers of quality hard Rock.

Every time I see the Giraffes live I wonder "Why haven't they taken over the world yet?" Killer songs, great performances, and the rooms are always packed. Check these guys out - Highly Recommended.
