I'd imagine being picked to open for Muse would be something of a blessing and a curse. Muse fans are almost religious in their devotion to the band but if you don't have it together they won't hesitate to let you know. But Brooklyn’s Cloud Room proved at Hammerstein the are up to the task. I had seen this band a couple of times before, but this set was miles ahead of the other two. The band was tight throughout the set and it seems like Matt Bellamy's influence is particularly rubbing off on the bands singer J. who was in top voice. They ripped through a raging version of their hit "Hey Now Now" that had the early birds in the crowd singing along and overall the guys looked pretty comfortable on the big stage. This is definitely a band worth checking out for lovers of tuneful indie rock
